San Simeone Profeta Church
San Simeon Profeta Church, usually called San Simeon Grande, is one of the thousands religious buildings of the city.
It was built thanks to the effort of 3 Venetian families during the year 900, a the beginning of made of wood then after a big fire it was restored and built using stone. The interiors are well preserved, thanks to lots of fixings of wall carpets, wall paintings and the floor, which brought to nowadays a lot of history of the building (for example we knew the floor was rebuilt during the XVII century because of hygienic) and the amazing Tintoretto’s and Jacopo palm ail Giovane’s oil paintings.
